Kelaniya Temple — Located 10 km from the center of Colombo. This Buddhist temple is most revered by the Buddhist community of the country, after all this temple is believed to have been visited by the Buddha during his third and last trip to Sri Lanka.
Sri Subramanyan Kovil — Kovil (a Hindu Tamil temple) is dedicated to Lord Subramanyan, also known as Lord Kataragama. This is one of the revered kovilov. It boasts many impressive artifacts belonging to the Colombo Hindu community.
St Andrew's Scottish Church — This is a pretty secular church with stunning stained-glass windows, in a Gothic architectural style.
Old Dutch Hospital — New Shopping Center — This is a former hospital, which is currently one of Columbo's newest sights. Now this is one of the most fashionable places in the city, where you can have lunch and go shopping.
Viharamahadevi Park (Former Queen Victoria Park) — An impressive park with lush tropical vegetation and many species of birds. A place for rest or a quiet walk.
Nelum Pokuna Theater (Lotus Pond) — Another recently built and significant for the culture of the city theater. Contribution to its construction was made by many Sri Lankan artists. The theater is located in the center of Colombo.
BMICH — The modern building of the exhibition center, which has become the venue for many events, events and cultural marathons.
